Risk Score Update Process

CBA's Risk Score update program is a product designed to facilitate a correction to a specific tradeline for one, two or all three of the repository tradelines with the desired outcome of improving the risk score. This product helps our customers close loans faster by taking the standard consumer repository dispute process time from 30 days to down to 72 hours. Once a merged (Pyramid) report is ordered, customers can utilize this option.

PROCESS
Once a customer has signed up for the program, customer will request a supplement for the tradeline with a risk score update. The supplement will be processed as follows:

Experian, TransUnion and Equifax: documentation must be provided to make changes on the consumer file to affect the risk score. Appropriate documentation includes letter from the creditor, bankruptcy papers, etc.

Once the supplement has been performed, CBA will fax over the disclosure form to the customer to be signed and returned before the score update will proceed. Once the score update has been performed, the customer will be notified. At that point, the customer may order a new merged report or CBA will place the amended score on the existing report in the report comments section under score update service.

Note: Mixed files and split files are issues that usually can't be fixed by the risk score update process and must be addressed by the consumer with the bureau (see instructions below)
