TRV (Tax Return Verification)
services provide TRV subscribers with data from
the tax returns (retained in the files of the
United States Internal Revenue Service) on individuals
who have authorized the release of this information
(via IRS form 4506), in exchange for credit extension,
or a similar consideration.
The TRV report compares the income related lines
of the tax-return that are provided by the borrower
with the same lines on file at the IRS and highlights
any variations. |
